clapper

Sound is rubbed ringing from the singing bowls or follows the clapper blow in loud or jangling reports. Like a tongue suspended from the throat of the bell, the clapper starts the music of bells. Sound is the hidden potential of the mute bell, as sculpture and architecture reside in stone.
